One possibility could be that the leap would be more biological then technological.. at faster pace.Once the brain, and actually the whole body is “trained” to handle more and more data, what could happen is that in couple of generations some mutations would appear and new bio sensors ignited.

Like a form of telepathy becoming more wide-spreaded then today. A language for thelepathy. Our bodies are much more powerful in my imagination then we think of today… And if machines are capable to beat us at chess or go, doesn’t mean much more then this… cars can also run faster, and planes can fly.

The leap could come either from physically and literally morphing tech with biology like nano cells enhancing some functiona or (my preferred scenario :), is that biology itself would be shaped by the tools (tech) we use, which is not a new fact just that now is at accelerating speeds..

What used to take thousand of years for an evolutionary process to be noticed, could take decades now…who knows?
